What are nicotine pouches?
Nicotine pouches are small white pouches of plant-based fibre, nicotine and flavourings that you place under your upper lip. Nothing is smoked, burned or inhaled, and they contain no tobacco leaf. Nicotine is highly addictive, so they are for adults who already use nicotine.
Is snus the same as a nicotine pouch?
No. Snus is a moist tobacco product from Sweden and cannot legally be sold in the UK. Nicotine pouches are used in the same way but contain no tobacco, which is why UK shoppers often call them snus. Everything we sell is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch.
Are nicotine pouches legal in the UK?
Yes, tobacco-free nicotine pouches are legal to buy and use in the UK. Selling oral tobacco such as snus is banned. Under the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026, selling nicotine pouches to anyone under 18 becomes illegal on 29 October 2026, and free samples are banned from the same date.
How old do you have to be to buy from Snus and Go?
You must be 18 or over. We sell only to adults aged 18 and over, as set out in our terms and conditions.
How do I use a nicotine pouch?
Take one pouch from the can and place it under your upper lip against the gum. Leave it in place, and expect a tingle for the first few minutes. Most people keep a pouch in for 20 to 60 minutes. Don't chew or swallow it. Put the used pouch in a bin, or in the compartment in the can lid.
What do the strengths mean?
Strength is the amount of nicotine in each pouch, in milligrams. Some brands print a figure per gram (mg/g) instead, so a can marked 16.5mg can hold about 13mg in each pouch. We group our range as Low (1 to 6mg), Medium (7 to 11mg), Strong (12 to 20mg) and Extra Strong (21mg and above) per pouch.
What do the dots on a VELO can mean?
The dots show strength: one dot is 4mg per pouch, two dots 6mg, three dots 8 to 10mg, four dots 11mg, five dots 14mg and six dots 17mg.
How many pouches are in a can?
It varies by brand. A VELO Slim can holds 20 pouches and a VELO Mini can holds 15. Other brands list the count on the product page.
What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
We deliver to UK addresses with Royal Mail. Tracked 48 costs £2.99 and is free on orders of £35 or more. Tracked 24 costs £3.99. Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 48 in two to three working days and Tracked 24 the next working day, though neither is guaranteed.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
No. We deliver to UK addresses only.
How should I store nicotine pouches?
Keep them in the sealed can, somewhere cool and dry and out of direct sunlight. Keep them away from children and pets.
Are there side effects?
Nicotine is highly addictive. Reported effects include hiccups, nausea, headaches, a raised heart rate and irritation of the gum where the pouch sits. Nicotine pouches are not for under-18s, non-nicotine users, or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
